Unreal Paintball 17.11.2007 Alpha Group
I'll start with a quick sorry for taking some time to post your first vid of unreal paintball i hope you all had a good day with us at stoke on trent's premier paintball park.
The day started with amazing castle attacks by both blue and red groups. Amazing because each group took the castle in 4m 30s. However with the scores tied the second game soon separated the teams with tremendous aggression by the red team winning both halves of rubber rampage to steam 20 points into the lead.
The next game, desperation, saw blue team find some unexpected hostility producing daring kamikaze attempts to retrieve the flag from the centre of the village. With four successful flag captures blues accumulated 20 points. The game would have been a whitewash for the blue team but for some audacious tactics by the reds when they surged from the start point in mass to capture the flag before the blue team had broken from their storm point. The fifteen point difference then left the scores 30 35 in favour of the reds.

Lunch was of more benefit to the red team than the blues because yet again a hesitant blue team succumbed to reds organisation. Having relieved the blues of possession of the flag in the trenches, reds won the first half of the game and only the whistle to end the scenario saved blues from a second defeat. The red player carrying the flag was only 5 meters away from objective when the final whistle blew. The ten points gained put reds into a fifteen point lead.
Reinforcements for both teams arrived in the form of Richard the best mans stag group. Although late and weary from sporting exertions of the top gear type, they were in time for the pivotal game of the day. The command post was initially defended by the red team who demonstrated sound military planning by deploying their troops around the command post and jeep which were the primary objectives for the attacking team. Unfortunately for the red team blues had devised a plan to flank their defensive positions and attack from the rear. With the reds sustaining casualties from the rear attacks, blues stormed into the objectives to end the game. The time taken to complete the mission, although not important in this scenario, was a remarkable 6 minutes. Could reds take the command post within the 8 minutes game time? That was the question on the marshals’ lips as the teams changed over. Reds had certainly given every indication throughout the day that they would bounce back and complete the mission within the time. Unfortunately, although reds attempted a similar flanking manoeuvre through woods close to the bridge, blues had anticipated this. Blues deployed three or four defenders deep and wide along both flanks and with the help of some rapid response ‘floating’ members, forced back the flanking attack. Despite three remarkable attacks down the centre right of the field which resulted in the same soldier being dispatched each time to the respawn area, blues held out to surge into a five point lead.
Finally the bridge scenario was set to decide the fate for both teams. If reds could defeat the blues resistance at the bridge and hold off the blue attack, then they would end in the position they had been for much of the day – at the top. Blues attacked the bridge first and raised their flag to complete the mission with just 30 seconds to spare. With ammunition low the stage was set for reds to take the bridge. However they failed to exploit the weakness of the defensive position that was so ingeniously utilised by blues. Although four soldiers reached the flag, time ran out as the attackers were dispatched as they tried to raise the flag.
The final scores were Blues 70 points Reds 45
